This is another very easy and delicious side dish. Originally I made this for my daughter but my husband loved it so much I often serve it with wings, tikkas or any main dish or you can have it as an afternoon snack.
1 cup fresh broccoli florets
1/2 cup almond flour
5 tbsp flaxseed meal
1/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1 tsp baking powder
1/8 tsp salt or as per taste
1/8 tsp pepper
- Grind broccoli florets in small pieces and mix well with cheese almond flour, eggs, salt, pepper and half of the flaxseed meal.
- Scoop out the batter with ice cream scoop and make equal sized balls.
- Coat the balls in the remaining flaxseed meal and deep fry. If you have an electric deep fryer heat it to 375F and fry for 4 minutes or till they turn golden.
- Enjoy as a snack or a side!
